Find your way back to the relationship you want.

If you’re here, you know that relationships take hard work and dedication. Maybe you are at the beginning, seeking a solid foundation. Perhaps you’ve been together for years, feeling stuck in repetitive arguments. Or maybe things seemed okay until a major challenge arose. Sometimes, conflict becomes unproductive and overwhelming. We forget how to work together, feeling like adversaries or even just roommates. Life has a way of challenging us and therefor our relationships. You might want to get back to a place where there is room for renewed fun, connection, and ease. But where do you start?

In life, we don’t get a class in relationships with a perfect blueprint. More often, we see examples of poor communication, conflict avoidance, or defenses that prevent vulnerability. Yet, communication and conflict are meant to bring us closer, not push us apart. Imagine being able to navigate conversations with your partner in a way that leaves you more aligned, not exhausted and disconnected.

Our therapists use a relational lens, meaning they understand you as an individual and within your relationship. Working with couples requires an extra set of skills and a passion for helping not just each person, but the couple as a whole. If you’re ready to enjoy your relationship again, we can match you with a therapist who understands. Together, you can create lasting shifts that will benefit your relationship long after therapy.

Don't waste any more days feeling disconnected from the person you share your life with. Contact us today for a consultation.

How does it work?

We offer free consults by phone or video to see if your therapist is a good fit. Jump right into a 50-minute intake session if you’re ready to go. Your therapist will email you and your partner a questionnaire to fill out.

The first few sessions are all about building trust through learning about your past, present, and where you want your future to go. Your therapist will take the time to understand you, your partner, and the relationship dynamic.

Once you discover what’s holding the relationship back, you’ll make a plan for therapy together. This includes your therapist’s role and what you can both do at home to make things better.

Maybe You’re Considering couples Therapy, But You’re Just Not Sure…

What are couples sessions like?

Even if you have experience attending individual therapy, couples therapy is different. It’s normal to feel nervous at first when you think of having another person present to witness your relationship. Your therapist will describe the process to you during your consultation or intake. In short, couples therapy involves diving deeper into the patterns that occur between two people and practicing new conversations and skill in real-time with your therapist. You and your partner will show up and talk to each other at times more than you will talk to the therapist. You therapist is trained to support your communication and provide insight and skills to deepen the relationship and improve future conversations.

what if my partner doesn’t like the idea of therapy?

Often times one partner is ready for therapy while the other isn’t as excited about the idea. Our free consultations are designed to help you and your partner feel comfortable and open to the idea of therapy. Our therapists can help you discuss the benefits of therapy, as well as address any concerns your partner might have. Ultimately, our therapists are trained to work with relationships, even if everyone is not present in the room. Starting with individual therapy could be a great beginning to creating relationship change if your partner is not ready for couples counseling.

Our lives are too busy, and we're concerned about the financial and time investment required for therapy.

Balancing work, family, and personal life can be overwhelming. It's understandable to worry about adding therapy to the mix. Concerns about time and money are valid when considering counseling. But what if investing in your emotional health could lead to increased harmony and stronger relationships? Our therapy sessions are designed to fit your life, not disrupt it. We believe that the value you will get out of therapy will extend well beyond your initial investment.
