Finding Your Path
Feeling lost? Uncertain about your future? You're not the only one. Many young adults experience periods of doubt and confusion as they navigate the complexities of life.
Maybe you are struggling with:
Identity Crisis: Uncertain about who you are and your values?
Life Purpose: Struggling to find meaning and direction in your life?
Relationship Issues: Navigating the challenges of romantic relationships, friendships, or family dynamics?
Academic Stress: Overwhelmed by academic pressures and feeling burnt out?
Career Anxiety: Unsure about your future goals or overwhelmed by work demands?
Boundaries: Know who you are but have trouble setting boundaries with others or are getting pushback about your life choices?
Not many people remember what is was like navigating the challenges they faced in young adulthood. It can be confusing and lonely to try to figure out who you are and where you want to go with your life.
Is it normal to be struggling?
Yes! Many younger adults struggle with losing their way or feeling overwhelmed by stress. Think about how much has changed in your life in the past 5-10 years! You lived through a pandemic, and have probably gone off to school, started your career, moved out, or started a family in that short timespan.
In recent years, there has been a noticeable increase in mental health issues among young adults. Some of the factors that have contributed to these issues, include academic stress, social pressures, relationship problems, financial concerns, and societal changes*.
There is a lot we carry from our childhoods and early relationships into adulthood. This can lead to confusing thoughts, feelings, and habits. We understand how normal it can be, and how to help you find some stability and confidence moving forward.

How does it work?
We offer free consults by phone or video to see if your therapist is a good fit. Jump right into a 50-minute intake session if you’re ready to go. Your therapist will email you a questionnaire to fill out.
The first few sessions are all about building trust through learning about your past, present, and where your future can go. Your therapist will take the time to understand you and your relationships.
Once there is a good understanding of what has you feeling stuck, you and your therapist will make a plan together. This includes the therapist’s role, how to navigate challenges, and what you can do outside of therapy to make things better.
You Might Still Have Questions Or Concerns About Therapy For Young Adults…
I’m not sure if my struggles are internal or external.
No worries! Our clinical therapists will help you make sense of what's going on and figure out where to go from there. If you come in for support, your therapist can help you focus on all areas of your life- internal and external. The great thing about getting started is that much of your uncertainty will feel resolved. Your therapist is trained to see you in all of your roles and guide you to what is at the root.
How often would I need to come to therapy?
This answer really depends on what is going on for you. Some people really appreciate attending weekly, while others feel comfortable with support every other week or even once a month. You and your therapist can map out what is best based on your life, your stressors, and your preferences. There typically comes a time when you feel you have gotten what you were meant to get out of therapy- our therapists are excited to hear that you are ready to attend less and feel more comfortable achieving your goals without us!
